A native of NJ, I am a professional artist and Licensed Psychotherapist. With formal art training, I have always been an artist with an inherent eye for color and design that has driven the expression of my creativity. Always intrigued bythe relationship between art and psychology andthe effects emotions have on one’s creativity, I was led to pursue a career as a psychotherapist for many years.  Both disciplines have strongly influenced my own life, work and creative expression.

My artistic creations are inspired by the relationship between the subconscious and consciousness of thoughts, feelings and dreams. My imagery is representational of real life situations painted in a whimsical, playful and surrealistic style. Using a variety of mediums including acrylic paints, inks and magical paint markers, my inspirations emergefrom my life experiences.  My passion and fascination for color, shapes, and textures trigger my use of eye popping vivid colors, to generate energy, flow,movement and playfulness throughout my creations.

All my original art is painted or drawn on paper, canvas or wood.  I also incorporate my art anddesigns in a variety of applications for accessories, apparel, paper, and home products.

As an artist, I am forever learning and growing.  I now devote myself full time to painting in my Dallas, TX studio and exhibiting my artwork throughout the country.
